For the remainder of their backpacking trip, the two became a pair. More commonalities appeared to emerge with each talk they had. Both of them remembered tending their chickens in the summertime or taking cover from storms in their hut. Chase remarked, “Erica believes we could be a reincarnation of the couple who lived on that farm.”

When Erica and Chase began dating, it seemed like a natural progression of their relationship. They are still unable to articulate what drew them together or why they were drawn to that area of Romania. They are currently working on a plan to return to Romania and purchase the land.
