Where It All Began
For these two lovers, their senior year of college arrived. Matt wanted to throw Laura a surprise in the most spectacular way imaginable. “I managed to persuade Laura that we would be attending the preschool picnic. I framed it as a lovely, relaxing evening because we had recently concluded our junior year of college, Matt told Huffington Post. When they arrived at the surprise destination, Matt got down on one knee and proposed to Laura. “YES” Laura exclaimed, “I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, is this happening?’. But indeed it was, and Matt had everything sweetly planned. “I proposed to her at the place it all began … our preschool classroom.”

“When you like someone, you just kind of stand up and say it,” Matt said in an interview. Laura was the one person he had always known he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. She was overcome with emotion the moment she laid eyes on the ring. “This is gorgeous. I’m so happy with it. I had no idea,” she cried. These two had no idea that they would soon become well-known.
